D094 - Broken Bud |
While getting used to how much strain they can take while bending under the chicken wire, a stem snapped... Unimpressed that this wasn't my first one and determined to save it, I made a cast out of scotch tape and a paper clip. NOTE: If there are any veins connecting the snapped bud to the plant, it CAN survive. Check later pics of this bud. |

D094 - Cast Closeup |
Closer view of the cast. |

D095 - Cast w/o Clip |
Close to 36 hours later and she's fine to remove the paper clip. |

D095 - Repaired Stem |
Here you can see the snapped portion of the stem "scabbed" over and the few veins connecting were maintaining it. They've thickened and can now support the bud. A bit of leaf wilted and died before nutrients could be supplied throughout that bud. All in all, it was saved. |

D020 - New 3 Sprouts |
The most reccent 3 seeds have sprouted, (one was a dud in the peat puck). Rockwool purchased and used from here on out for easier transplant to hydroponic system. |
08/20/07 |
D021 - Hydro 3 Suffer |
The 3 plants first transplanted suffer through the exchange. Exact causes not exactly known but the process followed has been adjusted and won't be repeated. |
08/20/07 |
D024 - Newer 3 Sprouts (Pre-math |
The 3 living sprouts in the "pre-math". You're about to see why you can leave hydroponic without attention but soil/rockwool need to be watered daily. |
08/20/07 |
D026 - 3 Sprouts Die |
Water your plants daily, this is beyond the point of no return. Here you count your losses and be sure to clone more in the future. |
08/20/07 |
D063 - Bucket of Clones |
Approx 19 clones were taken, 9 from the main plant "nig" on the far right in all the closet pictures. Later, the light fell and burned the stems of some 3 of the "nig" clones. 6 remained leaving 16 in total. 2 Were from "Fat Albert", he was the only male in the group and so 14 female clones remain. |
