LST plant- multi colas |
showing the LST trained stems which i have made all roughly the same size, still in progress of course, but the multiple colas are a sign that im doing ok. |

Front on view of both plants |
notice the LST one has many colas but the small one has more hidden and dense buds?Go figure! |

Using loupe to magnify one of th |
i use a jewellers loupe to go for close ups to check my thrichs, calaxyes,Bud growth, hairs&colours, healthy crystal ratio, etc and also to look for BUGS!(which i found munching on a leaf once!)
They also come in extremely helpful for when you have matured your plants, if growing from non feminised seeds to, show the sex without ANY doubts(unless its hermi)This loupe shows you those damn pesky bags of grapes a long time before your eyes would do.Basically get down your local electrical/home depot store and get one of these,im buying another one with a light on it so i can check at night time without the light disturbing the plant.Dont know how i survived so long without one! |

top cola on LST plant |
even though you might not know it,this is the top cola from the LST plant ,even though the other colas are larger-ish |
10/16/06 |
big plantLST small plantNORMAL |
these two plants are 3 weeks into flowering(nearly) and even though the LST plant is showing far more promise with the multiple colas, the small plant has tons of thick dense buds hiding under those solar panels, lol. What plants gonna produce the biggest yield?Who knowws but LST looks as if its gonna win in the long run. LST ROCKS! |
10/16/06 |
LST plant Multiple top cola sit |
there are literally more colas reaching up every day due to the LST,here are a few views of some of the bud/colas |
10/16/06 |
close up of LST site |
notice how the stem doubles in size therefore making your plant STRONGER! |
10/16/06 |
Centre of my LST training |
any discolour soon turns back to a healthy green and the stalk doubles in width. |
10/16/06 |
severed plant recovered |
the small non-LST plant was actually in flowering 4 weeks ago when it was accidentally severed and this huge shoot just appeared from the side and there are more appearing so dont despair if this happens to you! |
10/16/06 |
severed plant fully recovered |
as you can see the new shoot that has developed into a bigger one than was previously there before severence |

overview |
nothing special just an above the middle view looking down on both plants |
10/16/06 |
CLOSE UP ON SMALL PLANTS BUDS |
just using the loupe i am focusing with 20 times the magnification of our eyes,so you get to see any tiny sneeky damn little grape sacks very very early, lol. |
10/16/06 |
top cola of non LST plant under |
just a lil' pic of the top cola under the lamps so you can see it soaking up some rays, lol.Notice how the top cola on the non LST plant is not as thick looking as the lower and middle buds that are hidden under the fan leaves but i can assure you that upon close look, this top cola,is dense and goes all the way down the stem like a mini christmas tree. |
10/16/06 |
Multiple colas under 600w's THIS |
This is my one LST trained plant thats in the other pictures under my 600w hps lights,if THIS doesnt convince you of using LST on your plants then nothing will!!!Look at the multiple(6 main ones+another 6 not far behind!)top colas. Can you spot the real one?(original top cola)Its NOT the tallest but it is the most dense, from a distance its hard to tell but close up you can tell easy due to the LST marks. In this pic im pretty sure the top cola (original)is the one at the very back. |
10/16/06 |
non LST versus LST plants (unde |
here are the two femmes side by side, remember they from the same motherplant/therefore same strain.
The smaller(non LST plant) looks covered in leaves with only a few buds and a top cola but under all those fan leaves are big, thick, dense buds forming a lot quicker than the LST buds but there aint gonna be no competition when i harvest my LST plant.
The multiple top colas alone will be worth it nevermind the training im doing with the other middle/lower branches(getting them maximum light exposure). The LST is a clear winner, the only reasons the buds may not be as dense is due to the LST which can delay your plants growth temporarily but when i raise the lights the multi-colas will spring into action whereas the non LST plant will not grow much taller(never say never)but the buds are sooo much thicker, denser, fluffy, hairy, crystally, etc. The LST will win out in the end, lol. |

LST plant Top Cola under lights |
this is the original but y'all wont have so easily noticed it amongst my multi colas but im hoping for great things from this cos the stem is doubling thickness and thick healthy shoots are sprouting out...more budsites are a comin'. |
10/16/06 |
ORIGINAL LST top cola under loup |
this is the original top cola from my LST plant after i have now put it through the LST process,it might not look as big as others of the multi-colas but its by far the longest stretching and you can just tell, that no matter how good the others are, this one is the original and best. |
10/16/06 |
Multi cola from LST plant/ Were |
Yeah this is just one of the other top colas which is actually taller than the original cola and is starting to produce good looking baby buds, its not as potent looking as the top cola(original) |
10/16/06 |
Bud from lower down the original |
Here is a bud from below the middle of the normal, but recovered severed , non LST plant.Looking Good to me. |
10/16/06 |
6multi top colas from LST (more |
these are just the main top colas i have after only a few weeks in this garden but given by end of next month i think we will see a big difference, lol. |

bottom of the LST plant after ne |
this p[lant is just getting into flowering along with the other one but even the botttom budsites are showing early promise. |
10/16/06 |
Notice the LST bends. The stem do |
this may look nasty but believe me within a few days even a week, this whole stalk/stem will be healthy gren and double the thickness which makes it easier for future LST-ing |
