| Description | Six best plants taken from 10 strong seedlings that were germinated under two 30W compact flos. Wegging under 3 fluorescent shop lights, two bulbs per ballast (4 Gro-Lux Aquarium bulbs and 2 Sunsticks). Used fish poop and superthrive in small quantities for fertilizer. I hoped for two or three females from the six for a small personal harvest. Switched to 400W HPS for flower, removed two males. Now two weeks into 12/12, three females and one still undetermined. This looks a lot like an iron or magnesium deficiency caused by the ph being too high. But I checked it and it is just about perfect. Hmm...I am going to say that it's probably because of the heat that the plant can't get enough nutrients to its outer reaches. I'll see what I can do. OH YEAH, ALMOST FORGOT. Remember that late bloomer? It's a girl :) |

Got the air flowing a little better in the room and they perked right up. Almost all of the yellow is gone and even the blotchy fan leaf lookes better. A truly amazing form of life. |

I was clearing out some dead leaves from the pots and my arm started to break out about 10 minutes later. Guess my skin is a little sensitive to the oils or the little hairs on the stems. |

Here you can see the effects of the low-stress training and the thinning. The main branches (marked in red) were guided with string to keep them from crowding, and small branches growing in the shade of the canopy were trimmed to allow for better ventilation and light penetration to nodal bud sites on the main stem. |
