: I recently germinated a couple seeds by putting them in a damp wash cloth in a ziploc bag for about five days. To my surprise when i checked the bag i found one seed in perticular that already had a five inch long stem. Where should I go from here. I don't know whether i should grow it indoors or outdoors.

well.. you problably want to put it under constant light til it grows about 10-12 inches, then force it to flower early by switching to 12 hours of light/12 hours darkness.. if it has little grape like structres, its a male. if it has alot of pistils (hairs) its problably a female. You should use maybe 20/20/20 fertilizer for vegetative state (constant light) and 12/34/16 (peters african violet) fertilizer for flowering.
