No it will not work I have 2 48in and have tried all different spectrems of all flourescents. Save your money and buy Metal halide and then High pressure sodium. MH-HPS. Even though flourszsn is cheaper to buy it. Don't waste your time (it is more cheaper and more economical and about 1000X better 4 any plant. The sun is not always the best. The sun is very, very, very, powerful, but it changes.
