llIndigoll LST (Low-Stress Training) (Avg Rating: 6.4 in 15 votes)
|
Description | The LST method involves no topping. It trains the plant to grow horizontally, and promotes lower branch growth. This type of growing is ideal for fluorescent lighting, and creating a wide, bushy plant. The LST method is advantageous for:
*Having developed lower branches for future clones
*Multiple flowering areas on a horizontal plane (equal exposure to light)
*Limited vertical space
*Non-topped apical meristem (large top cola) | Type | Indoor | # Plants | 0 | Strains | Multiple | Lights | 100W Fluor-VEG, 1000W HPS-FLOWER | Medium | Soil | Yield | | |
Tired of coughing up phlegm?? Here at GrowKind we switched from smoking to vaporizing 10 years ago, and our lungs have never felt better. In that time we have tried every vaporizer you can think of including domes, digital vaporizers, light bulbs, heat guns, and the volcano. Some work better than others but after all that time we still go back every day to our vape pens. Do yourself and your lungs a favor and head over to Vaporwarehouse. Don't Smoke! -- Vaporize!

Title | Description | Added | Secured base |
This is how I keep the plant from uprooting. The base is secured to keep it upright while the top 95% of the plant is horizontal. |

LST Side View |
This is an example of what a plant looks like after being trained to grow horizontally. This plant is just showing alternating nodes and is ready for sexing/flowering/cloning. |

LST Top |
This is a shot from directly over the plant. It has 13 flowering areas on a flat level with the lights (instead of 1 main flowering area at the top with under-developed lower areas). |

LST Flowering |
This plant has flowered for 15 days. Note how the open exposure to the light allows so many flowering areas. I just released the ties on this plant. You can see the main cola in the back. |

| LST Group shot |
These fluorescent lights are 24 inches (2ft) off the floor. There is still room to spare. |

Just a little more bending, then some recovery time for her to phototropize (good word, eh?) |
